A network administrator works for IT companies where he has to take responsibility of handling a network, that is, multiple computers connected to each other which are collectively used for performing various functions to reach the company or team’s goals. The job duties may vary from company to company but the main responsibility of a network administrator is to handle the hardware and software of the computer network and also solve any issues related to it. Some network administrators may have to interact with other employees in the office and perform troubleshooting at their workstations, while others work in the system department and handle issues like network security, install firewalls and routers, make sure the network is linked to the server, create a network design and implement other technical policies.
