An Advertising Creative Director oversees the working of the creative team of an advertising agency in order to develop good and helpful product for clients. The Advertising Creative Director works with the Accountant Executives in order to ensure that the client’s needs are being met successfully. They develop every aspect of an advertisement campaign on the basis of marketing plan. Their job includes assigning of projects to staff and verifying that the client’s deadlines are being met.

Advertising Creative Director Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meeting with the Executive Accountants to discuss about the client’s requirements.
  • Gathering an understanding of the target audience and developing the business in such a manner that it suits the needs of this audience.
  • Working with the copywriter to ensure that the client’s needs are fulfilled and briefing other members of the creative team.
  • Assessing locations for shoots and making them suitable for the essential purposes.
  • Attending meetings with directors and the production houses as well.
  • Editing in order to oversee the finished product and thereby ensure that it has met required standards.
