Senior Business Analysts Job Profile and Description

A Senior Business Analyst’s main work is to conduct effective progress evaluation in a timely manner. Senior Business Analyst has to suggest areas of improvement in internal processes along with providing possible solutions.

His major work also involves understanding the business issues and data challenges faced by client’s organization and industry. He also has to develop functional specifications and system design specification for the clients according to their needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Modifying, recommending and reviewing business requirements related to system applications.
  • Participating in the planning and analysis related to conversion of data and integration of various projects.
  • Testing the solution, recording and tracking technical issues upon working collaboratively with technical team.
  • Identifying proactively and reporting on issues, dependencies, and risks related to the project.
  • Providing day-by-day experts of project management for various projects.
  • Providing recommendations and advice on emerging trends of IT.
  • Providing consultation and advice to BAs on complex and more difficult assignments.
  • Understanding customer needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
  • Liaising between client personnel and development team.
  • Ensuring that the issues related to the projects are resolved in a timely manner.

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, information systems, finance or computer science from an accredited institution.
