Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the statement abide with the policies, guidelines and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Advising the firm on how to manage the budget of the company.
  • Helping the firm to file tax returns and accessing business performance of the company.
  • Evaluating the operating information or data of the organization.

Skills and Specifications

  • Should have observation skills so as to identify the needs accurately.
  • Good knowledge about the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), regulatory policies and industry guidelines.
  • Should have complete knowledge about various market indicators.
  • Should have good decision-making qualities that can help in improving firm’s business performance.
  • Should have good statistical, mathematical and financial statement analysis skill.

Education and Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, auditing, tax, accounting or investment management from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in capital market transactions and financial securities related activities.
